DANVILLE — The City of Danville announces the closure of the west half of the intersection at Boiling Springs Road and Bayview Drive.
The closure is part of Stage I of the Boiling Springs Road reconstruction project that started on Aug. 31.
During reconstruction, Boiling Springs Road will be closed to all traffic from Crestwood Circle Drive to Lowe’s. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and avoid the area whenever possible. Access to the work zone will be restricted to ensure the safety of the construction crews.
All traffic exiting the Bayview Subdivision should do so to the east and take Pershing Street to West Lake Blvd.
Because of reconstruction activities, The City of Danville would like to request that all garbage toters are at the curb no later than 6:30 a.m. on the day of garbage pickup. Trucks will be unable to return to this location for any late set outs while construction is going on.
