• BURGLARY: Police are looking for a Lockport man after a shoplifting incident on South Transit Road in the Town of Lockport on Nov. 8. The 37-year-old man is charged with burglary and petit larceny. A warrant was submitted to the Town of Lockport court.
• FRAUD: Police are investigating a case of fraud on the 5700 block of South Transit Road in the Town of Lockport. The male victim told a Niagara County Sheriff’s deputy that he noticed two unauthorized transactions on his debit card at 11:48 a.m., Nov. 11. The total amount charged is $254 and a report was filed.
• FRAUD: Police are investigating a case of fraud reported by a Town of Wilson resident. The victim told a Niagara County Sheriff’s deputy Wednesday that her bank card showed $1,020 in fraudulent charges. A report was filed.
• LARCENY: Police are investigating a case of larceny on Main Street in the Town of Royalton. An employee of a business told a Niagara County Sheriff’s deputy Nov. 5 that a Lockport man did not pay a $672 bill. A warrant was issued for the 53-year-old suspect.
• PUBLIC ASSIST: Police advised two neighbors to stay away from each other’s property on Karen Avenue in Newfane on Nov. 12. One neighbor placed a note, threatening to throw bags of leaves on the other neighbor’s property. The recipient was concerned and asked to file a report. No criminal charges were made.
• LARCENY: Police are investigating a larceny on the 1500 block of Hess Road in Newfane. The victim told a Niagara County Sheriff’s deputy that batteries were taken from his excavator Saturday morning. The total value of the batteries and damage done on the vehicle total $1,070.
• PUBLIC ASSIST: Police reported to a call for public assist to the 1500 block of Harrison Street in Newfane on Saturday. The caller told a Niagara County Sheriff’s deputy that his neighbor had cameras pointed at his yard. He was told it was a civil issue. The neighbor with the cameras said the camera must’ve been “bumped.”
