ARREST
A Lockport woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday on South Transit Street. The woman, 41, was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property after taking two beers and hygiene products.
LARCENY
Police are investigating a larceny on the 3800 block of Chase Road in Royalton. The victim told a Niagara County Sheriff’s deputy that he noticed missing items from in front of his pole barn at 11 a.m. Sunday. He estimated the value to be $100 and said it was an ongoing problem. The deputy advised items to be locked inside the pole barn.
FRAUD
Police are investigating a case of fraud on the 400 block of Young Street in Wilson. The victim told a Niagara County Sheriff’s deputy that she was asked by a male caller to send gift cards to pay back $13,000 he said he’d deposited in her bank account. She did not, but is unsure if any of her personal information was compromised.
LARCENY
Police are investigating a larceny on the 2100 block of Transit Road in Newfane. The victim said Oct. 19 that items were missing from the driveway of a shop he co-owns. The total value is approximately $1,900.
ARREST
A woman was arrested after eating food and not paying for it at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at a business on Robinson Road in the Town of Lockport. The woman, whose age and address were not disclosed, is charged with petit larceny. She is charged with drinking two cups of coffee and eating a honey bun totaled to $4.56.
