• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after an assault in the 9400 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 8:11 p.m. Sunday. She was charged with third-degree assault and is accused of pushing a female victim to the ground during the course of an eviction.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after an attempted shoplifting incident in a store in the 1500 block of Pine Avenue at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday. He was charged with petit larceny. Police said he was caught in the act of stealing items inside the store and was detained by employees. Six hours later, after being arraigned and released from custody, he was arrested again for stealing a vehicle left running in the 800 block of Portage Road. The suspect was apprehended at 19th and Niagara streets and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and resisting arrest.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 800 block of Portage Road at 1:10 p.m. Thursday. He was charged with petit larceny and second-degree criminal impersonation. He is accused of taking a case of Red Bull without paying for it and giving officers a false name during the booking process at the city jail.
• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested on drunken driving and other charges after a crash in the area of 56th Street and Frontier Avenue at 11:55 p.m. Friday. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to use a designated lane, drinking or using cannabis in a motor vehicle on a highway and speed not reasonable or prudent.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 800 block of Portage Road at 5:18 p.m. Oct. 7. He was charged with petit larceny and is accused of taking more than $91 worth of merchandise without paying for the items.
