• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on a weapons charge after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 1:54 p.m. Monday. Jamal Malik Johnson Jr., 1562 Center Ave., was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is accused of having a loaded Glock 19 firearm in his possession while he was stopped by police investigating a shoplifting incident.
• THEFT: Officers are looking into a vehicle break-in in the 700 block of Third Street. A female victim told police that sometime between 8 and 10 p.m. Tuesday, someone broke into her vehicle by smashing her front passenger-side window. The victim said a purse was taken.
• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested on an assault charge after an incident in the 800 block of Niagara Avenue at 2:48 p.m. Friday. She was charged with second-degree assault and is accused of stabbing another woman in the neck in a domestic dispute.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on an assault charge as a result of a neighbor dispute in the 500 block of 62nd Street at 10:05 a.m. Saturday. He was charged with third-degree assault and is accused of repeatedly punching a male victim in the head, causing injuries.
• ARREST: A Rochester woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 7400 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday. She was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and is accused of taking more than $1,000 worth of merchandise without paying for the items.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after an incident in the 1500 block of Buffalo Avenue at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. He was charged with disorderly conduct. He is accused of causing a disturbance at a community event.
