ARREST
A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1000 block of Portage Road at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. She was charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny and is accused of taking more than $118 worth of merchandise without paying for the items and violating a no-trespass order.
ROBBERY
Police are looking for a suspect in the robbery of a fast food restaurant in the 2600 block of Pine Avenue at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. An employee told officers that a male suspect entered the restaurant and began filling up a white trash bag with bottled drinks taken from a cooler. The employee said that when he confronted the suspect, he told her to “stay back” and that he had “a knife.” The suspect then fled with the drinks, valued at $50, on a bicycle heading west on Pine Avenue. The entire incident was captured on video by store security cameras.
ARREST
A Falls man was arrested after he reportedly attempted to steal an electric bike in the 800 block of 70th Street at 2:04 p.m. Thursday. He was charged with criminal impersonation and possession of burglary tools.
ARREST
A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 800 block of Portage Road at 8:47 p.m. Thursday. He was charged with third-degree burglary, petit larceny, second-degree bail jumping and resisting arrest. He’s accused of taking more than $114 worth of merchandise without paying for the items and then fighting with officers who took him into custody. Police said the man also had two active failure-to-appear arrest warrants.
ARREST
A Falls man was arrested after police said he refused their request to stop playing loud music in the 8400 block of Buffalo Avenue at 9:05 p.m. Friday. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
