• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on impaired driving and other charges after an accident in a parking lot in the 600 block of Niagara Street at 320 a.m. Wednesday. The 45-year-old man was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unsafe movement of a moor vehicle, no seat belt, no insurance, three prior driving while ability impaired by drugs in the last 15 years, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Officers said the man told them he was driving under the influence of Suboxone.
• ARREST: A Falls woman was charged after police said she “kicked out” the plastic safety partition in a patrol car while in custody from a domestic incident in the 1800 block of North Avenue at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. The 28-year-old woman was charged with third-degree criminal mischief.
• ARREST: A Niagara Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The 43-year-old was charged with petit larceny. She is accused of taking more than $36 worth of merchandise without paying for the items.
