• THEFT: Officers are looking into a vehicle break-in in the 300 block of Third Street. A female victim told police that sometime between 7 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday someone broke into her 2021 Hyundai Palasade by unknown means. The victim said some cash and three passports were taken from the vehicle.
• THEFT: Officers are looking into a vehicle break-in in the 100 block of 70th Street. A female victim told police that sometime between 9 and 9:23 a.m. Friday, someone broke into her 2008 Nissan Maxima by unknown means. The victim said some a credit card was taken from the vehicle.
• ASSAULT: Police are investigating an assault in the 400 block of Niagara Street. A store manager told officers that a female suspect struck him with a bar of soap after he told her she could not get a refund for the item without a receipt.
• ARREST: A California woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 1:45 p.m. Friday. The 35-year-old woman was charged with petit larceny. She is accused of taking more than $41 worth of merchandise without paying for the items.
• THEFT: Officers are looking into a vehicle break-in in the 500 block of 70th Street. A male victim told police that sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, someone broke into his 2019 Chevy Equinox by unknown means. The victim said two watches were taken from the vehicle.
• ASSAULT: Police are investigating an assault in the 1400 block of Hyde Park Boulevard at 3 a.m. Saturday. A male victim told officers that he was approached by a male suspect who stabbed him after he told the suspect he didn’t have a cigarette to give him. The stab wound was not considered life-threatening.
• THEFT: Officers are looking into a vehicle break-in in the 100 block of Buffalo Avenue. A male victim told police that sometime between 7:30 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Friday, someone broke into his 2017 Ford F-150 by unknown means. The victim said some cash and checks were taken from the vehicle.
• THEFT: Officers are looking into a vehicle break-in in the 700 block of Park Place. A male victim told police that sometime between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:45 a.m. Sunday, someone broke into his 2022 Chrysler Pacifica by unknown means. The victim said a passport was taken from the vehicle.
