CUMBERLAND — David DiNola’s 18 points led Bishop Walsh to its first win of the season, a 38-34 victory over Cumberland Valley on Friday.
DiNola scored a game-high 18 points for the Spartans (1-1) including 11 in the fourth quarter.
Turner Egolf led the Blazers (0-3) with 15 points, hitting three 3-pointers while Zack Macc added 13 points.
Bishop Walsh led 13-8 after one quarter and 21-17 at halftime but trailed 28-27 entering the fourth.
DiNola scored all 11 of the Spartans’ fourth quarter points, outscoring Cumberland Valley 11-6.
Bishop Walsh heads to Calvary (1-1) on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
