CUMBERLAND — Jackson Miller converted a pair of penalty kicks to lift Bishop Walsh to a 2-1 win over Grace on Friday at Brother Stephen F. Paul Stadium.
The win is Bishop Walsh’s third in a row and improves the Spartans to 3-1-1.
Bishop Walsh trailed 1-0 at the half. Demetrio Juarez scored an unassisted goal for Grace in the 41st minute.
Miller tied the game on a penalty kick in the 55th minute, and he gave Bishop Walsh the lead by converting another at the 77:30 mark.
The Spartans’ James Maybury made 10 saves. Grace keeper Carson Wilmot had three.
Bishop Walsh outshot Grace, 7-5, and Grace took one more corner kick (4-3).
Bishop Walsh is at Southern on Monday, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m.
