MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — After having its three-game winning streak snapped by Southern, Bishop Walsh bounced back with a 3-0 victory at Faith on Tuesday.
Enoch Zheng gave the Spartans (4-2-1) a 1-0 lead at the half with a goal, assisted by Jackson Miller, in the 11th minute.
Zheng then played the passing role assisting a Carson Hamelin goal in the 47th minute, and Hamelin linked up with Miller for a goal at the 54:30 mark to close out the scoring.
Bishop Walsh had a 9-5 advantage in shots and both teams took five corner kicks. Bishop Walsh keeper James Maybury made 13 saves for the cleansheet, and Faith’s Daniel Hobbs had five stops.
Bishop Walsh hosts No. 5 Calvary (6-0-1) on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
