ROMNEY, W.Va. — Berkeley Springs and Hampshire combined for 43 runs, 20 hits and 26 errors in four innings on Friday.
The Trojans (0-19) committed 18 errors and scored 12 runs on six hits.
The Indians combined for 13 hits with eight errors.
Berkeley Springs scored 13 in the fourth while Hampshire put up 10 in the first.
The Trojans scored in the first off four hits, four walks and five errors.
Berkeley Springs scored in the fourth off eight hits, five walks, an error and hit batter.
Kaitlyn Ferguson had three of Hampshire’s six hits.
The Indians were leading the second game, 15-9 in the third inning before it was suspended.
Hampshire played at No. 4 Northern (11-6) on Saturday before playing at Martinsburg on Monday at 4 p.m.
