TIFTON — In the same vein as the city’s Rock the Block, the Anthony Bateman Youth Center is planning a block party.
The youth center has announced the premiere of a Bateman Block Party, to be held the evening of June 29.
While the facility had initially planned on hosting the event June 22, inclement weather forced plans back a week. However, organizers have made it clear they plan to celebrate rain or shine this time around.
Eventgoers will be treated to food, music, and entertainment like bingo and bounce houses, as well as giveaways that will be held throughout the festivities.
The Bateman Block Party is planned to go from 58 p.m., and will be free and open to the public. For more information, contact the youth center at (229) 391-3868
