The threat of rainy weather may have dampened the spirits for some potential Friday at the Crossroads attendees for the August Back to School-themed event. However, several people attended the early hours.
The family-friendly festival kicked off the back to school season in downtown Crossville. One of the highlights of the event was Journey, the new bookmobile, that offered free books for folks of all ages. Downtown Crossville Inc. provides funding and support that makes Friday at the Crossroads possible, with additional support from the city of Crossville.
Vendors included community nonprofit organizations, service providers and vendors with goods and crafts and food trucks.
