Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church is signing up children from preschool to high school for the upcoming Awana year.
Awana — or Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, from 2 Timothy 2:15 — will start meeting at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 12. Fairfield Glade Baptist Church has hosted this nationwide Bible-centered program for children for the greater Crossville community since 2014.
Each Wednesday evening starts with a light supper, followed by a spirited music segment.
Children and youth are then divided into age-appropriate groups for Bible teaching, handbook work, active games, uniforms and awards.
Each meeting concludes at 7:30. Transportation may be possible; check with the office.
