The library is proud to present Ignite! at noon July 16 in the Cumberland Room. This dance troupe from Knoxville will be performing their last performance in the United States prior to heading to London to learn and perform new works by world renowned choreographers.

The View From Lake Como by Adriana Trigiani. Jess is a young divorced woman struggling with family dynamics as she strives to find her place in the world, which leads her from a blue-collar New Jersey town to Carrara, Italy. Jess worked for her uncle in the marble business for several years, and she inherits the company when he passes away. She also inherits a shell company, an FBI investigation, and a massive tax liability. While fully cooperating with the FBI and the IRS, Jess goes to Italy to learn about the marble business and herself; in the process, she learns the importance of letting go of the past to embrace change and finds new family and love.
Finding Grace by Loretta Rothschild. While on a family vacation, Honor and her young daughter, Chloe, are killed in a Christmas suicide bombing at the Paris Ritz, leaving Tom a widower in mourning. Upon his return home to England, Tom hears from the surrogate carrier that he and Honor had contracted with just before the attack; she is pregnant. When son Henry is born, Tom quits his finance job to raise him. Then he receives a letter that identifies the anonymous donor of the eggs he and Honor used: it is a woman named Grace, who also lives in London. The plot unfolds from there, with Tom and Grace falling into a relationship, much to the dismay of Honor’s friends, who notice that Grace resembles Honor. Secrets abound and begin to create tensions among Tom’s friends and relatives. The story, told from the point of view of the deceased Honor as she watches over Tom, also recounts how she first met and fell in love with him.
The Woman in Suite 11 by Ruth Ware. Laura “Lo” Blacklock now lives in New York with her husband and two children. She is trying to revive her travel journalism career and receives an invitation to attend a press opening for a luxury hotel in Switzerland, sponsored by billionaire Marcus Leidmann. Upon arrival, Lo is surprised and worried to find three people from her previous misadventure also in attendance. A cryptic message sends her to Suite 11, where she finds Carrie, her previous nemesis and savior. Carrie, who is now wanted for murder, has played the reluctant girlfriend to Leidmann in order to evade capture by the authorities, but her situation has become unsupportable, and she asks Lo to help her escape. The women successfully flee to a high-end English hotel, but Leidmann follows, intending to reclaim Carrie. When he is found dead, Lo becomes the prime suspect, and Carrie disappears. Has she left Lo to take the rap?

Many of us are incorporating salmon into our diets as a high-protein addition to a healthier lifestyle. But not all salmon fillets are the same.
Wild-caught Alaskan salmon have high levels of heart-healthy omega-3s, are low in contaminants and are caught sustainably through tough Alaskan regulations and government monitoring of the fishing industry.
Farm salmon, on the other hand, are “grown” in tightly packed pools and often are fed high amounts of antibiotics to combat diseases.
When choosing your next salmon dish, think wild-caught instead of farm-raised.
