Central Catholic 13, Tewksbury 9
In a battle of two unbeaten league teams, Caitlin Milner (2 for 5, 2 RBI), Olivia Moeckel (2 for 4, 2 RBI), Bella Boyer (3 for 5, 3 runs) and Ava Perrotta (2 for 2, 3 runs, 2 RBI and 2 walks) provided enough spark for the Raiders (6-1/5-0) to overtake the tough Redmen (7-3/5-1) club.
On the mound, Chloe Salerno went the first four and Kaleigh Davoli finished it off with three strong innings in relief.
Chelmsford 15, Methuen 10
For the Rangers (4-5), Bella Medeiros led the way with four hits, while Adriana Delaney, Ainsley Low and Colleen McNamara (2 doubles) had three apiece. Melany Reyes had two hits including a two-run home run.
Haverhill 11, Lowell 2
Emmalynn Proia was 2 for 5, stroking two doubles and knocking in six to lead the Hillies to the MVC win. Gianna Pistone (3 for 4, 4 RBI) and Reece Favalora (2 for 4, two runs) also had big games. On the mound, Cayla Irwin tossed four innings, giving up one earned run and Ava Moscaritolo went the last three, striking out two.
Pinkerton Academy 7,
Timberlane 0
Julia Caruso was once again dominating in the circle, tossing a complete game, two-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts to lead the Astros (7-0). Offensively, Caitlin Lemay was 2 for 4 with two RBI and Nalia Hilton was 1 for 2 and she also drove in two.
For Timberlane, Audrina Cordeiro and Chloe Lynch broke up the no-hitter with safeties.
Lebanon 2, Pelham 0
In a terrific pitcher’s duel, Lebanon’s Ava Kaercher struck out 18 batters and gave up one hit to Caileigh Aguiar, who was the losing pitcher with 15 strikeouts.
Windham 12, Goffstown 2
Senior Captain Anna Mitrou led the charge with two home runs, three RBI, and scored three times. Sophomore Ava Runde had three hits including a mammoth home run and also drove in three runs. Freshman Lily Carballeira added two hits, two RBI, and scored twice.
Senior Claire Ballard allowed two runs and struck out eight for the complete game win.
Boys Tennis
Andover 5, Billerica 0
Winning matches for the Golden Warriors were Nik Narina (6-0, 6-4), Matt Wang (6-1, 6-1) and Ryan Furlong (6-1, 6-0) as well as the doubles teams of Cam Nutter and Beckett Rosner, and Tim Feng and Elye Berman.
North Andover wins two
The Scarlet Knights defeated Haverhill 4-1 on Saturday and then on Monday Lowell 5-0. Against Haverhill, NA won two matches by default, but also had two other wins come from first singles Keshav Mahaderan over Miles Stapel (6-1, 5-7, 6-3) and at first singles with the team of Noah Tanguay and Austin Palmisimo defeating Prabov Joginapali and Ethan Gunn (6-0, 6-0).
The lone win for Haverhill came at second singles as Jesse Rubera topped Weber Li, 6-0, 6-1.
In the win over Lowell, Mahadevan (6-2, 7-5), Li (6-2, 6-1) and Max Polonsky (6-2, 6-1) won their singles matches and then in doubles it was Joginapali and Ethan Quinn (5-7, 6-1, 6-3) and Ben Holland and Colin Artz (6-3, 3-6, 6-3).
Girls Tennis
Andover 5, Methuen 0
The Golden Warriors remain unbeaten at 8-0 with the convincing victory. Winning their singles matches were Mia Thomas (6-1, 6-3), Ishwa Dharan (6-3, 6-0) and Hila Berman (6-4, 6-1).
At doubles, the team of Celeste Miner and Valerie Chu won 6-3, 6-1 and Farah Berty and Caitlyn Croll won in straight 6-0 sets.
North Andover 4, Billerica 1
Callie Dias (6-1, 6-1) and Kate Fry (6-2, 6-2) won their singles matches, and in doubles play, the team of Ena Deasy and Zee Olawole (6-0, 6-3) and Emma Roshi and Keerthans Suresh (6-2, 6-3) also won their matches for the Scarlet Knights (5-2).
Lawrence 3, Haverhill 2
The Lancers came out with the hard earned win. At first singles, Truc Nguyen defeated Emily Dicker, 6-2, 6-0. At second singles, Jess Diep defeated Boston Alvino 6-3, 6-3. At second doubles, the team of Tran Cao and Isabel Jimenez topped Breanyce Flete and Maggie Boucher, 6-4, 6-2.
The Hillies wins came from Olivia Dicker over Gabby Lopez, 6-0, 6-0 and the team of Grace Pelletier and Chelsea Taabo over Eva Carias and Evelyn Roldan, 6-3, 6-3.
Girls Lacrosse
Pinkerton Academy 9, Souhegan 8
Offensively, the Astros were led by Hannah Lisaukas (2 goals, 3 assists), Francesca Doyle (4 goals), Delanie Summers (2 goals, 1 assist) and Elise Collins (1 goal). Goalie Sara DiClemente made eight saves.
North Andover 9, Andover 5
Isa Robinson found the back of the net six times and Meghan Daley did three to lead the Scarlet Knights. Both of them added an assist, as did Julianna Taylor. Goalie Taylor Farrell made six saves to earn the win.

Central Catholic 0
The trio of Zach Faro, Gabe Polonsky (win) and Trey Martin combined for the shutout, while striking out eight batters to lead the Scarlet Knights. With the bat, Faro was 1 for 2 and scored three runs, while Jeff LaVolpicelo, Sean Kilcoyne (home run and triple), and Mike Phelps combined for five hits and five RBI.
Haverhill 6, Methuen 4
Trailing 3-0 after three innings Haverhill struck back with a five-run fourth inning to push to another win. Pitchers Brendan Snyder and Irving Tavares combined to strike out eight batters.
For Methuen, Jeyvien DeLeon smacked two doubles and drove in a pair, and Julius Soto provided 2.1 scoreless innings of relief pitching.
Andover 10, Lawrence 8
Trailing 4-0 after three innings, Andover rallied to score ten runs and were up 10-4 in the sixth before the Lancers put a late scare in, scoring four runs to fall just short of their own comeback.
For Andover, Chris Jaillet had four hits including a double, Sean Napolitano had three safeties and Drew Pulsifer knocked in three runs. On the mound, Max Dyer picked up the win, with Alex Berman getting the save.
For Lawrence, Jose Sanchez was the lone batter with multiple hits with two, and Anderson Silverio scored twice.
Pinkerton Academy 8, Timberlane 1
Hunter Braiser tossed 5.1 innings with six strikeouts to earn the win on the mound. He received some offensive help from Matt Mann (2 for 2, 2 walks), Leo Boucher (2 for 3, RBI) and Anthony Caruso (1 for 4, 2 RBI).
Timberlane managed just three hits coming off the bats of Liam Kelley, Mikey Santosuosso and Keiran Lamb.
Goffstown 13, Windham 1
The Jaguars struggled to generate offense against the Grizzlies. Will Weiss drove in the lone run for Windham.
Salem 9, Bishop Guertin 6
Aaron Masson went the distance and struck out seven for the win and he also had a hit and drew three walks at the plate to help lead the Blue Devils to the win. Owen Doherty and Ivan Colon both had two hits and combined to drive in three.
Lawrence Academy 3, Brooks 1
Despite a complete-game effort from lefty Andrew Martin, Brooks fell short. James Sullivan collected the only hit for Brooks and Kyle Derderian scored the team’s only run.

Whittier Tech 1
The Reggies (8-2) prevailed by scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-20 and 27-25. Janiel Vizcaino finished with 12 service points, three aces and one block, Joel De La Rosa had three aces, Jelisson Peguero had a huge game with 20 kills, Anthony Rubim dished out 36 assists and Haziel Revi finished with 12 digs.
Andover 3, Haverhill 0
Despite being swept (25-19, 25-16 and 25-15), the Hillies still received great efforts from Brady Paris (8 kills), Peter Grillo (16 assists), Patrick Osgood (5 digs, 2 aces) and Kole Sindoni (3 blocks).
Dracut 3, Central Catholic 2
In a terrific five-set battle, the Middies edged out the Raiders by scores of 22-25, 22-25, 27-25, 25-20, 15-9. Steven Gibson and Colin Bowler combined for 16 kills, Michael Najjar had 25 assists at setter, Elijah Hong was strong defensively with 21 digs and he also added 15 service points.
Lawrence 3, North Andover 2
The Lancers fought hard to win the five-set match (17-25, 25-23, 25-20, 20-25 and 15-7). Victor Torres was terrific at the net with 25 kills, Christian Gomez finished with 42 assists, Edward Torres had 11 service points, Gregory Medrano chipped in with two aces and Yadian Lopez had three blocks.
Lowell 3, Methuen 2
The Rangers went back and forth but fell just short by scores of 27-25, 20-25, 25-27, 30-28 and 15-13. Sean LaDuke contributed with 47 assists and Andrew Cox had 19 kills.
Boys Lacrosse
Whittier Tech 17, Lowell Catholic 8
Conor Walsh (also 4 assists) and Kyle DiCredico each had six goals to pace the Wildcats’ offense. Mike Valhouli added a goal and four assists, while Jake Horne (1 goal, 1 assist), Kyle Brown (1 goal), Bodie Marcotte (2 assists) and Reid Archambault (1 assist) also contributed. Lucas Keefe chipped in with two goals, one assist and 12 draw controls, and goalie Vinny Foster made six saves for the win.
Bedford 18, Windham 3
Josh Trudel, Sam Kramer and Drew Gryzb scored single goals for the Jaguars.
