Methuen 107, Woburn 56
Ranger guard Isaiah Andino became the fourth Methuen boy to hit the 1,000-point mark, tossing in 31 of his game-high 33 points in the first half. He now hits the Division 1 state tourney with 1,004 in his career.
Nethaniel Clemente added 23 points with 28 rebounds, and Lennon Abreu De La Cruz had 21 points for the 11-9 Rangers.
Dylan Sweetser finished with nine.
North Andover 64, Lawrence 45
The Knights finish up the regular season with a 12-8 mark behind 23 points from Zach DesRochers. Bryan Gyorda had a dozen, and Niko Catalano added 10 in the win. Lawrence, now 5-15, plays host on Friday night (6:30 p.m.) to the Brewster Academy national team.
Girls Basketball
Londonderry 83, Central Catholic 53
The Lancers, unbeaten in the state of New Hampshire, defended the Granite State’s honor against a tough Central squad. Aniela Kwo paced the Raiders, now 12-7, with 19 points, and McKenna Devanney added 14.
Salem 50, Portsmouth 33
The Blue Devils hit the Seacoast, where they were eliminated from the postseason a year ago, and exacted a little revenge. Salem moves to 12-6 with the win.
Boys Hockey
Amesbury/Whittier 6, Haverhill 1
Bodie Marcotte scored three goals and added a pair of assists for the winners. Maddox Leblanc netted a goal with two assists. Wes Ackerman and Jacob Noyes also picked up goals, while Nick Boothroyd turned aside 21 shots for the win in net.
Jack Baker scored the Hillie goal with Pat McGowan and Elijah Gonzalez assisting. Max Boyer made 34 saves.
Windham 4, Pinkerton 1
Roberto Robles was fabulous stopping 24 of 25 shots, including some incredible saves on point-blank opportunities. Josh Trudel scored and Josh Martino had the game winner. Alex Dolezal and Ethan Peluso added empty net goals. Cole Carrier had a strong game at forward for Windham.
Ronan Connors broke up the shutout, scoring a third-period goal for the Astros.
