Editor’s note: The following information is compiled from public records taken from reports from local law enforcement agencies.
• A 30-year-old Chatsworth man was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault.
• A 30-year-old Dalton woman was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with cruelty to children (excessive physical/mental pain) and cruelty to children (criminal negligence).
• A 33-year-old Dalton man was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault (weapon), cruelty to children (allowing to witness felony/battery/family violence) and criminal trespass (damage of $500 or less).
• A 39-year-old Byhalia, Mississippi, man was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and driving without a valid license.
• A 44-year-old Dalton man was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with misdemeanor probation violation, misdemeanor failure to appear and fugitive from justice (Hamilton County, Tennessee).
• A 45-year-old Dalton woman was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with burglary (forced entry, non-residence) and duty upon striking an unattended vehicle.
• A 29-year-old Dalton man was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with battery (family violence), felony probation violation, felony fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer, running a red light, when lighted headlights and other lights required and reckless driving and by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with simple battery against law enforcement personnel and obstruction of an officer resulting in injury.
• A 23-year-old Dalton woman was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of possession of a schedule 2 drug and possession and use of drug-related objects.
• A 43-year-old Dalton woman was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of drug-related objects.
• A 35-year-old Dalton man was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with driving too fast for conditions, improper lane change/failure to maintain lane and DUI.
• A 23-year-old Dalton man was charged Monday by the Varnell Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, DUI, failure to maintain lane and driving with a suspended or revoked license and by the Dalton Police Department with misdemeanor failure to appear.
• A 52-year-old Dalton woman was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, improper lane change or usage and failure to maintain lane.
