Editor’s note: The following information is compiled from public records taken from reports from local law enforcement agencies.
• A 30-year-old Dalton man was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, possession and use of drug-related objects, misdemeanor willful obstruction of law enforcement officers and trafficking cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana or meth.
• An 18-year-old Dalton man was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault (weapon) and by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with armed robbery (business, gun).
• A 32-year-old Dalton woman was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth, possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule 4 drug, trafficking meth (possession), possession and use of drug-related objects and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• A 31-year-old Resaca man was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of meth, possession of a schedule 4 drug, trafficking meth (possession), possession and use of drug-related objects and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• A 28-year-old Forsyth man was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of meth and use of communication facilities in drug transactions.
• A 22-year-old Chatsworth man was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, improper turn and failure to maintain lane.
