Editor’s note: The following information is compiled from public records taken from reports from local law enforcement agencies.
• A 36-year-old Chattanooga man was charged Thursday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with two counts of financial transaction card fraud, criminal attempt to commit a misdemeanor, conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor and driving without a valid license.
• A 27-year-old Dalton woman was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with child molestation, aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy (against the will of a person or against someone less than 10 years old) and aggravated sexual battery.
• A 30-year-old Cohutta man was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with misdemeanor shoplifting, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, sale of or intent to sell marijuana, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and trafficking fentanyl.
• A 23-year-old Adairsville man was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, speeding and reckless driving.
• A 46-year-old Tunnel Hill woman was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and failure to maintain lane.
• A 22-year-old Dalton woman was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated battery (weapon).
