LOWELL — Andover High School seniors, 409 of them, crossed the stage at the Tsongas Center for the school’s graduation Monday evening.
The ceremony began at 5 p.m. with graduates walking in to the musical stylings of the band and orchestra as they played “Pomp and Circumstance.”
Class essayist Edward Mukalazi spoke before the class gift was presented by Christian Yianopoulos.
Superintendent Magda Parvey congratulated the seniors prior to their presentation by interim Principal Elizabeth Taylor.
As the ceremony ended, diplomas were presented to the graduates before closing remarks were given by Bridget Machol and Annabel Pierce.
