ATLANTA — Ameris Bank has named lifelong Moultrie resident Josh Lovett as the bank’s market president for Moultrie. Reporting to Ameris Region President Michael Lee, Lovett will be responsible for leading all core banking activities in the Moultrie market.
Lovett most recently served as a financial advisor for Capital City Bank where he worked with high-net-worth clients and was consistently recognized as a top performer within the company. He previously held leadership positions with UniFirst Corporation and Enterprise.
Lovett is deeply committed to the Moultrie community and is involved in numerous community and nonprofit organizations, Ameris Bank said in a press release. He is currently the president of the Colquitt County Arts Center Board of Directors and is on the board of the Colquitt County Arts Center Foundation and the United Way of Colquitt County. He is a past member of the boards of directors of the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce and the Serenity House and is a graduate of Leadership Colquitt County and South GA LEADS.

Lovett and his wife, Jennie Lynn, live in Moultrie with their three children. He is a graduate of Valdosta State University.
