CUMBERLAND — Allegany College opened its season with a 92-82 win over WVU Potomac State College on Saturday at Bob Kirk Arena.
Elijah Hall led the Trojans (1-0) with 30 points, adding four assists, three rebounds and a steal.
Jaylen Brown scored 19 points with four rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Darrien Ponder finished with 14 points and a steal.
Dorell Little scored 12 points in reserve with two boards while Christian Brown added 11 points with 12 rebounds and two blocks.
RJ Greene led the Catamounts (3-1) with 26 points off the bench.
Peter Quaye scored 16 points with 11 rebounds while Colby Margenau added 14 points and eight boards.
Rodney Vilsaint added 13 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Allegany hosts No. 16 Niagara County on Sunday, which Potomac State upset 85-79 on Saturday.
The Trojans head to Monroe University in New York next weekend for games against Dawson Community College and Monroe.
Potomac State hosts the Waynesburg junior varsity team on Monday at 7 p.m.
