CUMBERLAND — The Allegany boys and girls were both victorious among a 13-team field Saturday at the Sentinel Invite held at Greeneway Avenue Stadium.
On the boys side, David Smith won the triple jump (41’ 11”), long jump (18’ 9.50”) and teamed with Brody Williams, Macello Kitchen and Jacob Salonish to take the 4x100m relay (45.14). Gabe Browning (400m, 54.80) and Dustin Long (1600m, 4:51.54) also took gold for the Campers.
Avery Miller, Sierra Campbell and Morgan Ruggles led the Camper girls. Miller won the long jump (17’ 11”), 100m (12.40) and 200m (25.70). Campbell took the 400m (1:03.17) and triple jump (36’2”). Ruggles won the 1600m (5:54.35).
Other boys individual winners were Dominick Gagum of Hedgesville (110 hurdles, 16.14; 300 hurdles, 42.49; pole vault, 12’ 6”), Cohen Arbogast of Frankfort (100m, 11.14; 200m 23.22), Carter Hess of Fort Hill (shot put, 46’ 2”; discus, 132’ 2”), Braden Puffenberger of Fort Hill (800, 2:07.80), Ryan Hughes of Frankfort (3200m, 9:56.69), and Jacob Faith of Clear Spring (high jump, 6’ 6”).
Girls individual winners included Keyser’s Kiara Kesner (100 hurdles, 17.19; 300 hurdles, 50.86), Hampshire’s Kaylie Hall (shot put, 35’ 11.50”; discus, 99’ 5”), Hedgesville’s Abigail Snyder (800m, 2:28.60), Frankfort’s Paisley Raines (3200m, 12:46.47), Fort Hill’s MaeLeigh Plummer (high jump, 5’4”) and Clear Spring’s Dana Hammond (pole vault, 8’ 6”).
In the boys relays, Hampshire won the 4x200m (Colten Fleming, Zachary Haines, Vincent Grear, Trenton Timbrook). Frankfort won the 4x400m (Rocky Fontenot, Eli Hesse, Carter Shanholtz, Zane Nelson) and 4x800m (Nelson, Gavin Mcdonald, Ryan Hughes, Darius Gray).
Musselman won the girls 4x100m (Hailey Fields, Jada Guinn, Ambrille Thomas, Caitlynn Gray) and 4x200m (Fields, Guinn, Thomas, Mikaela Tyson) relays. Hedgesville took the 4x400m (Mariana Kanundowi, Snyder, Allison Bray, Jadyn Macher) and Musselman won the 4x800m (Ayle Lewis, Nadia Madenspecher, Lizzy Stegnaier, Sadie Yates).
The finals scores for the boys were Allegany (108), Fort Hill (103), Frankfort (95), Musselman (84.5), Hedgesville (76.50), Clear Spring (71), Keyser (58), Hampshire (55), Southern (21), Hancock (16) and Berkeley Springs (14).
For the girls it was Allegany (121.5), Musselman (102), Keyser (100.5), Frankfort (71), Hampshire (70), Fort Hill (60), Clear Spring (56), Hedgesville (53), Berkeley Springs (45), Southern (14) and Bishop Walsh (3).
