Alexis VanDyke received the Jeff Brooks Award, an honor created to celebrate the legacy of Jeff Brooks.
As Youth Advisor for Effingham County 4-H from 1957 to 1970, Jeff made a profound impact on the lives of countless young people. Even during his battle with cancer, which ended on Jan. 4, 1996, Jeff’s unwavering positivity and enthusiastic encouragement inspired many to achieve great success in their endeavors. This award was established by those who wish to honor Jeff’s contributions to the community’s youth.
Alexis’ positive influence, leadership and community service has made an impact on Effingham County 4-H community.
