Community residents ages 65 and older who want to engage in aquatic exercise and relaxation at their own leisure are welcome to sign up for Cumberland Mountain State Park’s Senior Swim program.
The program will be from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at the state park pool. Cost is $7 per participant.
The program is not guided, but lifeguards will be on hand and supervising. The pool will be open an hour early so participants can work on aquatic strengthening and cardio before the pool opens to the public at 10 a.m.
Registration is required by June 16 online at tinyurl.com/CMSPSeniorSwim or 931-484-6138.
In case of inclement weather, the program will be postponed. Guests will be notified by email.
