MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — Attorney General John M. Formella announced the identities of the Manchester Police Department officers who discharged their firearms during a shooting incident in the early morning hours of Dec. 6, which resulted in the death of 24-year-old Nickenley Turenne.
The officers who discharged their weapons are Brandon Baliko, Andre Chan, and Devin Lambert. Officer Baliko has served with the Manchester Police Department for approximately one year, Chan for approximately 1½ years, and Lambert for going on 2 years.
The Manchester Police Department and the officers involved are cooperating with the investigation and the officers’ voluntary interviews were completed this week.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under active investigation.
It is anticipated that a report regarding the incident and whether the officer’s use of deadly force was justified will be released once the investigation is complete.
