CUMBERLAND — Allegany College of Maryland guard Jaylen Brown was named an honorable mention NJCAA Division I All-American on Wednesday.
Brown is the 32nd Trojan in program history to receive All-American honors.
Brown averaged 16.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists this season.
He shot 54.3% from the floor and 49% from deep, which is fourth-best in a single season in program history.
His 3-point percentage is the highest since Maurice Reddick’s 49.1% in the 2000-01 season.
He was the East District Tournament’s Most Valuable Player after scoring a game-high 29 points with five assists and three steals in an 85-80 semifinal loss to Harcum.
ACM has produced five All-Americans since 2020.
Tyson Oghene (2024), Tekao Carpenter (2023) and Jordan Johnson (2022) were honorable mentions.
Imhotep George was a third-team selection in 2020.
