CUMBERLAND — The Allegany College of Maryland women’s team fell to Prince George’s 70-53 on Tuesday.
The Owls (1-1) led 30-27 at halftime and pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Trojans (1-5) 21-11.
Kalise Evans led all scorers with 26 points for Prince George’s. She scored 13 points in the third quarter.
Jai’Den Anderson scored 15 with a pair of 3-pointers.
Tamia Washington added 14 points, scoring 13 in the second half.
C’Niyah Turner led the Trojans with 14 points, scoring seven in the fourth quarter.
Ziahya Lomax added 12 points, nine coming after halftime.
Allegany faces Harford on the road next Wednesday at 5 p.m.
