CUMBERLAND — Allegany College opened its season with a sweep of Beaver County, winning 25-20, 25-8 and 25-15 on Wednesday.
Makenna Conway led the Trojans (1-0) with 30 assists, adding three digs and two kills.
Nailevid Lorenzo-Lopez led Allegany with 10 kills, adding five digs and two block assists.
Ryan Whitehead (Mountain Ridge) finished with 11 digs, five aces and eight kills.
Autumn Hoppert (Bishop Walsh) contributed seven kills, five digs, two block assists, one block and three aces.
Addison Miller finished with nine kills, five digs, four aces and a block.
Kailyn McCoy had 13 digs while Payton Mosier had three aces.
The Trojans head to Frederick for a pair of matches on Saturday.
