CUMBERLAND — The Allegany College of Maryland baseball program sent 100% of graduating sophomores to four-year programs.
The Trojans produced 19 players from this spring’s roster who will play at a four-year college, including 15 heading to NCAA schools.
Third-team All-American pitcher Nick Falla committed to San Diego State University.
ACM sent 13 players to the Division II ranks including seven players to the Mountain East Conference (MEC).
Konner Pittman will play at Frostburg State while six of his teammates will join other MEC programs.
Mountain Ridge graduate Carson Bradley heads to the University of Charleston.
Johnny Antonelli (Wheeling), Griffin Roussell (Point Park), Casey Tomasik (West Virginia State), Joel Wise (Davis & Elkins), and Gabe Patton (Glenville State) round out the future MEC players.
Timmy Jones (Goldey-Beacom), Curtis Wells (Shorter), Tyler Serb (Lock Haven), Dylan Adams (King) and Antonio Bruno (Lincoln) will also play for Division II programs.
Axel Sona will play for Division III Dominican University.
Four players head to NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) schools including Josh Regalla (Mid-America Christian), Brandon Diaz-Valentin (Culver-Stockton), Greyson Martin (Florida National) and Topher Discala (Webber International).
Aidan Walker will play for the Apprentive School of the USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association).
The 2024 roster produced 10 players who went on to four-year programs including four NCAA Division I schools.
Nazir Mendez (Eastern Kentucky), Zach Neville (Miami of Ohio), Johnny Montgomery (Niagara) and Edem Okpattah (Prairie View A&M) spent this spring at Division I programs.
