LAWRENCE — A five-alarm fire swept through four buildings starting at 324 Lowell St. around 6:08 p.m., according to various reports.
When firefighters arrived there were flames coming from a 2-1/2 story house on Lowell Street.
It started as a three-alarm fire which grew to four alarms and then five alarms by around 7:30 p.m.
It is not known if anyone has been injured.
At least two businesses on Lowell and Oxford streets were affected.
