Four new police officers recently took the oath of office to join the Crossville Police Department.
Chris Stavros, Brandon Williamson, Tristan Wright and Skylar Young were sworn in Nov. 4 as the newest members of the Crossville police force.
Crossville City Judge Tiffany Adams administered the oaths of office in the courtroom of police headquarters.
“We’re happy to welcome all four of these officers to our family,” said Crossville Police Chief Jessie Brooks. “We have been eager to add to our SRO division, and we are now at full staff.”
The new officers were hired to fill two open patrol officer positions and to add to the school resource officer division. This supplements each of the high schools with an additional SRO.
The new officers are in the department’s field training program. They will each attend police academy training next year to earn their Peace Officer Standards and Training certification.
“We are proud to have built a department that will continue to attract the best candidates and officers to serve the city of Crossville,” Brooks said.
