Among the top playmakers in MVC/DCL Division 1. Finished with six goals and 13 assists, a year after scoring just one goal and adding seven assists. A captain whose “ability to lead this group every day is second to none at this level,” said head coach Jon Hutcheon. Selected to the All-Conference team. Recognized with the Hobey Baker High School character award. Three-year varsity member. Helped the Warriors qualify for the state tournament twice. Hopes to continue to play in college.

Central Catholic High Sophomore, Goalie
One of the top goalies in the MVC/DCL and the state. Stands at 5-feet-8 inches. Led the Raiders to their second straight state tournament appearance, a year after winning the Division 2 league title. Made 50 saves in a loss to state champion Methuen/Tewksbury. All-Conference selection. League all-star as a freshman. Faced 480 shots, giving up 20 goals. Posted a .960 save percentage and 1.67 goals against average. Career record of 11-8-3 with a .950 save percentage and 1.91 GAA.
CHARLOTTE WOODFORD
HPNA Junior, Forward
Went from a complementary player with five goals and five assists last season to exploding to 22 goals, 11 assists, and 33 points. A big part of the team’s combined 32 wins over two seasons, including reaching the D1 Final-4 a year ago. Strong, powerful skater. Dominated offensive zones. Displayed incredible chemistry with linemate Mia Kmiec. Scored a hat trick in the team’s playoff win over Braintree. Named to MVC/DCL All-Star team. North Andover resident. Brother Ben had a great season in goal for the Knights.

HPNA Sophomore, Goalie
Had the impossible task of replacing last year’s Eagle-Tribune Player of the Year Julianna Taylor. Provided stability and consistency, never afraid of challenges. Terrific with her feet and rebound control. Has “Spider-Woman reflexes”, says head coach Gary Kane. Started the season/career with back-to-back shutouts. Posted a .952 save percentage, 1.41 GAA, and five shutouts. Earned first post-season win over Braintree. Named to MVC/DCL All-Star team. Made 32 saves in a 1-1 tie against state champion Methuen/Tewksbury.
ELLA DUFFY
Methuen/Tewksbury Senior, Forward
Clutch player. Scored five goals in the playoff run. Scored OT winner in last year’s playoff victory over Central. Incredible captain and leader. Helped lead Red Rangers to an unbeaten season and Division 1 state championship. Scored both goals in the first-round tournament win over Winthrop. Sealed the state title with an empty-net goal. All MVC/DCL All-Conference team. Finished with 17 goals and 8 assists. Ended last year with 5 goals and 11 assists. Three-sport athlete who also excels in volleyball and girls’ tennis.
CARMITA L’ABBE
Pinkerton Academy Freshman, Forward
A goal-scoring machine. Led the area with 42 goals and 10 assists. Involved in 66 percent of the team’s 79 total goals. Scored 13 times in the last two regular-season games to push the Astros to a state tournament berth. Had the game-tying and game-winning goal with 14 seconds left in a wild 10-9 win over Bishop Guertin. Scored eight goals in a win against Bedford. Plays a 200-foot game, backchecking, and defensively. Elite skater and skillset. Previously played in a club tournament at Lake Placid’s Olympic Center Rink.
