Began wrestling in the sixth grade. Made a name for herself almost immediately in the high school ranks. “Just a freshman, but already wrestling like a veteran,” said coach Ryan Richards. “Tough and never out of a match. We are lucky to have her in the program and for her to continue to be a role model for female wrestlers.” The Division 1 state champ. Took third at Mass. All-State Meet. Closed out by going 2-2 at New Englands, ending the year with a 24-5 mark.

Lawrence High Senior
235 Pounds
Her second time on our team. Goes out as one of the region’s all-time greats. A three-time Massachusetts All-State champ. Two-time runner-up at New Englands. Finished the winter at 17-3. Three-time First-Team All-Merrimack Valley Conference selection. Lowell Holiday tourney runner-up. “Just an impressive season,” said coach Christian Guzman. “She worked hard in practice every day and never complained.”

Greater Lawrence Tech Junior

Came of age in her third year in the program with a 24-6 record. The Division 1 state champion and State Vocational champion. Was third as all-states as a sophomore and reached the finals this time around. Placed fifth at New Englands. Finalist at the Lowell Holidays. “Put together an outstanding season. With experience comes confidence. I see her only getting better and more comfortable in clutch situations,” said coach Juan Nieves.

Amazing winter on the mat. Went 22-1 vs. girls and 23-9 vs. boys in a simply supreme season. The first Blue Devil girl to win the New England title. Did it in style, pinning her way through the tourney. In the New England semis, she dethroned two-time champ Hannah Perro of Maine. Two-time New Hampshire Girls state champ. Placed third in Division I co-ed state championships. Finalist at the Lowell Holidays. Cheerleader and track athlete.

Salem High Sophomore
138 Pounds
Foundation piece for one of New England’s top girls programs. Tough competitor, now two for two on our Eagle-Tribune team. Two-time New Hampshire state champion. Took fourth at New Englands for the second straight year. Salem’s only girls multi-year New England placer. Was second at Lowell Holidays as a freshman. Took that one step further this winter with a championship in December. Went 18-5 as a freshman and followed that up with a 25-4 mark this year.
