Niagara Falls firefighters responded to a third house fire in the 500 block of 19th Street in three days.
Around 4:05 a.m. Tuesday morning, firefighters, along with Niagara Falls Police and AMR, were dispatched to the 500 block of 19th where they found heavy fire inside a vacant structure at 521 19th St.
The fire had engulfed the first floor and began extending into the second floor and roof line in the back of the house. Using multiple hand lines, firefighters were able to extinguish the fire completely in a little over an hour.
Tuesday morning’s fire, follows a vacant structure fire at 534 19th St. on Saturday and a small bedroom fire at 502 19th St. on Monday.
All three fires remain under investigation by the Niagara Falls Fire Investigation Unit.
