LAKE CRYSTAL — An 81-year-old Tennessee woman was killed Tuesday morning when her Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with another Harley driven by a Texas woman southwest of Mankato.
Nancy Ann Beck of Dandridge, Tennessee died at the scene of the crash on Highway 60 in Lincoln Township midway between Lake Crystal and Madelia, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Beck was driving west on her 2023 Harley Davidson FLH when it and a second westbound motorcycle — a 2026 Harley FLH driven by Joyce Lynn Oliphant, 63, of Plano, Texas — collided at 9:54 a.m.
Lake Crystal Fire and Ambulance responded, but Beck was not transported to a hospital, according to the Patrol.
Both women were wearing helmets. Oliphant was not injured.
