SLANESVILLE, W.Va. — The Hampshire County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that killed a child early Saturday morning in Hampshire County.
In a press release, the sheriff’s office said a 10-year-old child died in the crash and other juveniles involved in the crash sustained serious injuries.
The number of vehicles involved, injuries or conditions could not immediately be confirmed Saturday morning.
The crash occurred at the intersection of state Routes 29 and 127 near Slanesville, deputies wrote.
All occupants involved in the crash were from out-of-state, according to the release.
Patrol deputies and criminal investigators from Hampshire County continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The press release said the sheriff’s office would not be releasing any additional information until the investigation allows.
