Crossville is turning 125 — and you’re invited to the celebration!
The Crossville Birthday Bash celebrating 125 years of the city of Crossville will be 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, in downtown Crossville.
Food, vendors, live programming and plenty of hometown pride are in store for the family-friendly celebration.
“The Birthday Bash will feel similar to Friday at the Crossroads, but on a Saturday with even more ways for the community to enjoy downtown,” the Chamber said in an e-blast. “The event will include programming at the Downtown Amphitheater, vendors throughout the downtown area, and a cruise-in down Main Street featuring around 150 cars.”
The e-blast continued, “That means people will already be downtown, walking around, shopping, eating, and enjoying the event — making this a great opportunity for local businesses, food vendors, nonprofits, community groups, and organizations to connect with residents and visitors.”
Vendors will include:
• Food trucks and restaurants
• Retail vendors
• Local makers and artists
• Bakers and dessert vendors
• Nonprofits and community organizations
• Kids’ activities
• Downtown businesses
• Informational booths
• Interactive booths, giveaways, samples, and family-friendly activities are encouraged.
Vendors interested in participating are encouraged to go to tinyurl.com/BirthdayBash125 to complete an application. The application will be reviewed by event organizers, who will follow up with details.
