The NAACP Cookeville-Putnam County Branch is inviting nonprofit organizations and community groups to participate in this year’s Juneteenth in the Park celebration Friday, June 19, at Dogwood Park in Cookeville.
The annual celebration, from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m., brings together families, businesses, churches, community organizations, and residents from across the Upper Cumberland for a day focused on freedom, culture, education, and community connection.
Features of the event include food trucks, vendors, children’s activities, gospel music, and Motown music.
Registration fees are $25 and may be waived for nonprofit organizations. The registration deadline is May 31.
Interested organizations must complete an exhibitor registration form and a City of Cookeville Vendor Permit form by the registration deadline. Vendor forms may be requested by sending an email to the Branch email – naacp.cookevilleputnam@gmail.com and completed forms should be emailed to the same address.
