UDig NY, the nonprofit that provides the 811 service for 55 New York State counties, will host its 2026 Damage Prevention Conference & Expo on Oct. 28 at the Niagara Falls Convention Center. The event will bring together stakeholders from the construction, utility, and locating industries, as well as state and local government, insurance, and safety professionals. The conference will be free for professionals and students to attend.
“The Damage Prevention Conference & Expo is the premier opportunity for construction and utility industry stakeholders in Upstate New York to share ideas, learn about the latest technology, and work together to address the toughest challenges facing our industry today,” said UDig NY President & CEO Kevin Hopper. “We are thrilled to bring this event to Niagara Falls, and I look forward to welcoming industry leaders from across the state and the country to Western New York this October.”
The event will include opportunities for professionals to earn Certified Excavator Program (CEP) renewal, and many sessions will also qualify for additional professional CEUs. Additional information about sessions, credits, and registration will be posted on UDigNY.org/Conference in the coming weeks.
In addition to educational sessions, the conference will feature exhibitors, equipment displays, and opportunities to network with professionals in the utility, excavation, construction, and underground utility locating industries.
