Lily Giard (4 goals), Hanane Aboutoui (3 goals, 2 assists), Eva Comeau (2 goals), Emma Flynn (2 goals) and Alanna Bistany (1 goal), supplied the offense for the Rangers (5-4), while goalie Meghan Terry stopped four shots for the win.
North Andover 15, Winchester 3
Nicole Daley struck for three goals and assisted on three others as the Scarlet Knights dominated from the get-go. Maddie O’Connor added three goals and one assist, Caitlin Sughrue tallied two goals and Sophia Fina finished with a goal and two helpers. Goalie Taylor Farrell made seven saves.
Softball Methuen 6, Lowell Catholic 0
Delaney D’Hondt was once again strong in the circle, with a complete game two-hit shutout, striking out 15 to lead Methuen (3-4) to the non-league victory.
Gianna Guey (2 RBI) and Sam Chalupa (2 R) paced the offense with three hits apiece. D’Hondt and Sarah Fairchild (2 RBI) chipped in with two hits each.
Central Catholic 10, Reading 6
Chloe Salerno enjoyed a huge game, going 5-for-5 at the plate, while earning the win in the circle and striking out 11. Madelyn Estepe added two hits.
Baseball Phillips Academy 8, Governors 3
Owen Callahan and Garrett Falahee each and two hits and Mikah Krystofolski allowed only one earned run while striking out seven in 5.1 innings.
Monday’s Games Girls Lacrosse Central Catholic 15, Pentucket 3
Goalie Anne Cashman made eight saves to push over the 500 mark in her career to lead Central Catholic (4-4) to the non-league win. She was helped out by a number of offense stars including Sarah Wilson (4 goals, 1 assists), Megan Delorey (3 goals), Lily McCarthy (2 goals, 2 assists), Fiona Delisle (2 goals, 1 assist, 4 draw controls) and Lila Christy (2 goals).
Pinkerton Academy 10, Dover 4
Rylee Robinson led the offense with two goals and two assists and both Delaney Summers and Franchesca Doyle added two goals and one assist. Paige Fenner stopped four shots in net.
Windham 11, Concord 10
With 30 seconds left in a tied game, Kiera Lee scored the game winner lifting the Jaguars to the thrilling victory. She ended with four goals and one assist. Anna Hartman dished out four helpers and Ella Gallinelli chipped in with two goals and one assist.
Pelham 17, Pembroke 5
Ella DeSimone found the back of the net five times, giving her 200 career goals. She also added an assist. Isabella Santolucito added four goals and Jessica Phillips contributed with two goals and two assists. Julianne Rocha finished with two goals and one assist and Jillian Bistany added a goal and an assist. Goalie Emma Bowlan made five saves for the win.
Boys Lacrosse Haverhill 13, Woburn 6
Ryan Roy (4 goals, 1 assist), Connor Damske (3 goals, 2 assists), Trevor Lindmark (3 goals, 2 assists) combined for ten of the team’s goals.
Brewer Murray picked up two helpers, Max Boyer made 12 saves in net and Matt Costa won ten draws.
Windham 8, Concord 5
Sam Kramer finished with three goals and two assists to help the Jaguars prevail. He was helped out by Evan DellOrfano (1 goal, 1 assist), Cameron Terry (2 goals), Josh Trudel (2 goals, 1 assist) and Ethan Peluso (1 assist, 8 groundballs and six caused turnovers). Goalie Jack Tanso made five saves.
Pelham 14, Milford 2
Freshman CJ Sawyer led the way with two goals and five assists and Chris Swiniarski added three goals and three assists. He was followed by Aidan Cote (1 goal, 3 assists), Noah Johnson (3 goals), Will Jeknovarian (2 goals), David Harford (2 goals) and Tyler McDonald (1 goal).
Timberlane 9, Hanover 3
Dylan Lindblad scored twice and assisted on two others as the Owls cruised to the victory. Aiden Davern added three goals, while Landon Petry, Giovanni Recesso, Gaven Dubois and Andrew Kellerman each had a goal and an assist. Bradyn Gillespie dished out two assists. Mark St. Jean won 12 faceoffs and goalie Ryan Bazidane made five saves.
Softball Greater Lawrence 16, North Middlesex 4
Sam Nasella had another terrific game in the circle, striking out 15 batters while throwing a three-hitter. She also helped herself at the plate blasting a two-run shot.
Sophomore Cheyenne Pope blasted a grand slam and had two hits along with sophomore Brooke Nasella with two hits.
Pentucket 6, Haverhill 4
Ava Moscaritolo went the distance on the mound, giving up five earned runs but struck out a dozen.
Emma Manning had a hit and drove in two, Bella Libucha finished with two hits and both Emma Proia and Brookelyn Blais drew three walks.
North Andover 2, Dracut 0
Lilianne Lee tossed a two-hit shutout as the Scarlet Knights improved to 3-4. Offensively, Lauren Lynch, Kate Manzi and Caroline Ehkator (RBI) each had two hits.
Pinkerton Academy 8, Salem 1
Julia Caruso was once again sensational in the circle, going the distance, and allowing one run on three hits while striking out 14 and now issuing a walk.
Cara Murray was the catalyst offensively going 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. Mia Marshall, Samantha Harrington and Mollie Wheale each drove in a run.
Baseball Shepard Hill 15, North Andover 8
Freshman Pat Long was the only batter with multiple hits as he went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBI and scored a run.
Lawrence 5, Masconomet 4
Fily Peralta picked up the win on the mound going 5.1 innings, giving up just two earned runs while striking out three. Jayden Minaya closed out the last 1.2 innings to earn the save, allowing an unearned run. Michael Caba led the offense with two hits and two RBI.
Georgetown 6, Methuen 5
The Royals enjoyed the walk-off win in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the Rangers, Alex Santiago and Dylan Conway had two hits each and on the mound both Colby Costa and Julius Soto went 3.1 innings, giving up one earned run.
Londonderry 8, Timberlane 6
Frankie Carrasquillo, Mike Santosuosso and Nate Hutchins each had two hits in the loss.
Plymouth 8, Pelham 3
Jake Davidson tossed a complete game in the loss.
Windham 6, Alvirne 1
The Jaguars broke into the win column behind the performance from Eddie Charity, who delivered a complete game performance on the mound.
The offense got going early when Joe Coviello blasted a home run in the first inning to set the tone. Ben Urquhart led the way at the plate collecting three hits and scoring a run, while Andy Connarn chipped in with two hits.
Pinkerton Academy 13, Salem 6
Lazlo Beaulieu, Kason Plasse and Brody Eckerman each had two hits and combined to score three runs and knock in four to pace the Astros’ offense. Hunter Brasier drew four walks and scored three times and freshman Brody Yennaco reached base three times and knocked in two runs.
Kyle Giarusso had three hits, Anthony Angelari had three RBI and Brady Gray and Dylan Nason each collected an RBI for the Blue Devils.
Volleyball Greater Lawrence 3, Lawrence 1
The Reggies (5-3) took the match in four sets by scores of 26-24, 23-25, 25-17, 25-17. Playing well in the win were Jelisson Peguero with 17 service points, three aces and 12 kills, Janiel Vizcaino with two blocks, Haziel Revi with two blocks and five digs and Anthony Rubim with 36 assists.
For Lawrence, Christian Gomez finished with 32 assists, Victor Torres had a big game with 18 kills and 10 digs, Yadian Lopez (5 blocks) and Edward Torres (6 service points with 4 aces) also played well.
Central Catholic 3, Lowell Catholic 2
The strong attack duo of Sebastien Masse (17 kills) and Seven Gibson (15 kills) helped the Raiders come away with a five-set win (18-25, 25-23, 25-21, 26-28 and 15-8).
Michael Najjar dished out 42 assists, Elijah Hong had 31 digs and Lucas D’Agata added two blocks.
Souhegan 3, Pinkerton Academy 2
The Astros forced a fifth set but couldn’t come away with the win, losing the overall match by scores of 25-17, 23-25, 20-25, 25-14 and 15-9.
Collin St. Onge led the way with 15 kills. Jacob Rice came up with 26 assists. Paul Vallee added ten digs, Sean Phelps had three aces and Nate Craig blocked three shots.
Boys Tennis Windham 9, Manchester Central 0
At singles, Jake Carullo (8-2), Ryan Vermilyea (8-0), Faryan Biswas (8-0), Zac Hussey (8-3), Aaron Stapelton (8-0) and Ethan Deandrea (forfeit) won their matches, as did the doubles combinations of Vermilyea/Hussey (8-6), Carullo/Biswas (8-1) and Stapelton/Deandrea (forfeit).
Pinkerton Academy 9, Concord 0
The Astros made quick work sweeping Concord behind single match wins from Arav Mahajan (8-4), Jack Welch (8-2), Mason Treadwell (8-1), Killian Mahan (8-4), Michael Saab (8-4) and Parker Kingsley (8-4). Mahajan and Treadwell (8-1), Welch and Saab (8-2) and Mahan and Kingsley (8-3) won their doubles matches.
Londonderry 8, Salem 1
Matthew Harding was the lone winner, taking his singles match by an 8-1 score.
Girls Tennis Pinkerton Academy 8, Concord 1
Eloise Clark (8-1), Darcy Ludman (8-0), Natalie Olson (8-4), Emmah Peoples (8-3) and Ava Mahon (8-3) won their singles matches, and then in doubles, Doyle/Clark (8-1), Alivia Archer/Helena Locsin (8-6) and Lola Hideriotis and Kayla Yager (8-4) also picked up wins.
Salem 6, Londonderry 3
Molly Mosto (8-4), Amelia Cikacz (8-6), Sophya Fitzell (8-4) and Alara Cakir (8-4) captured single match wins, and then Cikacz and Fitzell (8-4) and Cakir and Bradley Thompson (8-4) won their doubles matches for Salem (6-3).
