A pair of gymnasts from Burke’s Tumbling Academy have earned the right to compete at the Regional Championships against the top gymnasts in Massachusetts this weekend.
Grace Morrison, a Level 7 gymnast from Swampscott and a 10th-grade student, finished 3rd overall in the state. Only the top 36 athletes in her division advance to Regionals and she’ll compete on Friday at the MassMutual Center in Springfield.
Andie Marengi, a Level 6 gymnast from Marblehead and a 7th-grade student, ranked 14th in the state, qualifying among the top 32 athletes in her division. Her competition is on Sunday, also at the MassMutual Center.
Based in Swampscott, Burke’s Tumbling Academy serves families across the North Shore, offering programs from early childhood through competitive team training. The gym emphasizes strong fundamentals, confidence, and a supportive, team-focused environment.
Qualifying for Regionals is a significant achievement, requiring consistent top performances throughout the season. Morrison and Marengi’s success reflects their dedication and the strength of the Burke’s community behind them.
