Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity invites families to the Mother and Son Date Night Celebration for an evening of music, dancing, food and interactive games.
Boys are encouraged to bring their mom, grandmother, aunt or special role model as their date to the event, from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Cumberland County Community Complex, 1398 Livingston Road.
Guests will enjoy entertainment from DJ Perry, catering from Willow Café and Catering, and activities hosted by community partners, including ax throwing, and obstacle course from Mr. B’s Bouncers & Party Rentals.
Presenting sponsors include Zurich Homes, East Tennessee and Dave Kirk Automotive Group.
Event sponsors include SmartBank, Upper Cumberland Encapsulation, Miller Heating and Air Conditioning, and Stubbs Construction.
Special experiences include Lee’s Flower and Gifts “Moments in Bloom” floral station and a High Seas-themed sword fighting activity hosted by Cumberland County Playhouse.
The fun also includes giveaways, door prizes, and special appearances from community partners and Shoney’s Bear.
