PREP SOFTBALL: Westville gets past Watseka

WESTVILLE — The Westville softball team battled with Watseka on Thursday before the Tigers were able to get a 4-3 win.
The winning run was in the bottom of the seventh when Taylor Valangeon had a sacrifice fly. Valangeon had 13 strikeouts on the mound and only gave up three hits. Daylin Zaayer had two RBIs, while Peyton Sabalaskey had two hits.
The Tigers are 10-2 and will face Georgetown-Ridge Farm on Monday.
