OAKLAND — A Florida woman was killed in Garrett County late Friday evening after being struck by a vehicle, according to Sheriff Bryson Meyers.
Tina Lynn Roberts, 62, of St. Augustine, was transported to Garrett Regional Medical Center and later pronounced dead, according to Meyers.
Units were dispatched at approximately 10 p.m. for a crash involving a pedestrian and two vehicles in the 12000 block of Garrett Highway.
Meyers said the incident remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office accident reconstruction team.
Southern Garrett EMS, Oakland Volunteer Fire Department and the Maryland State Highway Administration responded to the scene.
