GILMAN — The Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin baseball team got the season going with three runs in the first inning against Iroquois West on Thursday.
But the Raiders would have the last laugh and scored the winning run in the seventh to get a 5-4 win.
Chase Warren had two hits and an RBI for the Blue Devils, while Jaxon Spicer and Landen Packard each had one RBI.
The Blue Devils will try to regroup on April 1, when they play Rantoul.
