PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh High and AuSable Valley split their matchup Thursday at North Bowl Lanes with PHS winning the boys’ match and AVCS winning the girls.
The Hornets’ Xavier Sorel and Sebastien Berner went neck-to-neck to lead their team to victory.
Berner finished with a series high of 631 to Sorel’s 629. He also had the high game on the day with a 245.
The Patriots’ Jarrett Mattioli led his team with a 346 series.
On the girls’ side, Karlie Christensen and Eleanore Quinn led their team to a 4-0 sweep. Quinn had the high score of the day with a 522 series and 214 high game. Christensen finished with a 458 series.
While they led AVCS to victory, the highlight came from Isabella Caskey, who bowled a high personal best 140 game.
PHS’ Sophie Rancour rolled a 154 game.
