The United Way of Greater Niagara has announced its selection of 15 youth-focused programs for 2026 funding.
The recipients and their programs are:
• Aquarium of Niagara, Summer Camp
• Boys & Girls Club of the Northtowns, Camp Spirit
• Castellani Art Museum, Arts for Us
• Community Missions of Niagara Frontier, Supervised Visitation
• EPIC (Every Person Influences Children), Summer Storytime & Family Zumbini
• Girl Scouts of Western New York, After School in Niagara County
• Kenan Center, Kenan ACRES
• Leadership Niagara, LYNC
• Matt’s Music, Music from the Heart
• Mental Health Association in Niagara County, P.A.M. (Physical, Arts, Music)
• Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club, 716 United Teen Program
• Pinnacle Community Services, Casey House Youth Shelter
• Special Olympics NY, Western Region Program
• Youth Mentoring Services, LINKS
• YWCA of the Niagara Frontier, Carolyn’s House Youth Enrichment Program
United Way of Greater Niagara’s stated mission is to support youth-focused initiatives that foster positive social, emotional, and mental development.
There was a significant increase in the number of applicants for 2026 funding, making the grant process especially competitive, according to United Way President and CEO Andrea Gray.
“Funding requests far exceeded the resources available, underscoring both the growing need in our region and the critical importance of continued community support,” she said. “We extend our deepest gratitude to the individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations whose generosity powers our campaign. Your support directly strengthens youth programming, and every dollar raised stays right here in Niagara County.”
